Ariana has dedicated the past decade to societal and personal transformation through sustainability. She founded Metabolic Consulting to support innovative industry, food systems, and cities. In recent years, she has been humbled to be a semi-finalist in the Buckminster Fuller Challenge, publish articles in places such as Scenario Journal and the Journal of Industrial Ecology, and speak at schools and universities across the Northeast.

She is currently focused on collaborating with United Illuminating and Eversource to transform businesses across Connecticut through the Business Sustainability Challenge and on teaching personal mastery to entrepreneurs and conscious business leaders.

Her previous work includes helping to create the Institute for Sustainable Development at the University of Liberal Arts Bangladesh and Polydome, a radical approach for regenerative food systems.

Ariana holds a Masters of Environmental Science in Industrial Ecology from Yale University and a Bachelor of Arts from Wesleyan University. She serves on the steering committee of the Connecticut Collaborative of the Living Building Challenge, as an instructor at Yestermorrow, and as a Senior Fellow in the Environmental Leadership Program.
